Nearest airport to Gandhinagar is the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Ahmedabad (AMD) which is around 18 km away from Gandhinagar. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport provides accessibility to both domestic and international flights. The Airport is well-connected with all the major cities of India namely Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, etc. Ola, Uber, Auto services are available at the airport. The cabs will cost around Rs. 300 and will take nearly 30 minutes to reach the DA-IICT campus. Regular buses are also available at a short distance from the airport which would drop you off at either Gh-0 or Ch-0 from where you can hire an auto to take you to the DAIICT campus.

Gandhinagar Capital railway station (GNC) is located in Sector 14 which is around 7 Km. away from DA-IICT campus. Presently, there are a very few trains running from the Gandhinagar railway station. Ahmedabad railway station (ADI) is the nearest rail junction (25 km away) which provides connectivity with all the major cities and towns of India. It is possible to hire Ola/Uber taxis (about Rs. 400) and auto rickshaws (about Rs.300) to DA-IICT campus from the station. It takes about an hour to drive from Ahmedabad railway station to DA-IICT Gandhinagar. Government buses, shuttling between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, run on a regular basis, and one of their various stops is just a stone's throw from the Ahmedabad railway station. Also, Guajarati’s are very amiable people, and will direct you to the proper bus if asked. The stop at Gandhinagar where you need to disembark is Gh-0 or Ch-0, both of which are less than 1 Km from the DA-IICT campus. From here, autos could be easily hired to the campus.

All the national and state highways in Gujarat are smooth and well maintained. Multiple bus services to and fro for neighboring states - Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh are easily available. From comfortable buses to Volvos owned by Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) and private transporters are available. Bus services for different places can be taken from either Gandhinagar (5 km away) or Ahmedabad bus (26 km away) stations depending on time availability and suitability. Regular buses are available from the Gita Mandir Bus terminal at Ahmedabad, apart from the various bus-stops across the city to take you to Gh-0 or Ch-0 near DA-IICT.
